In line with ECNP’s mission to advance the science of the brain, promote better treatment and enhance brain health, developing the next generation of European clinical leaders has been a longstanding ECNP priority.
The ECNP Schools have been established to encourage excellence in future leaders in clinical neuropsychopharmacology by propagating best practices during a week-long course, in that way contributing to the continuing improvement of the field’s high standards of practice.
Per ECNP School, a maximum of 50 early career psychiatrists are accepted and their accommodation costs are covered by ECNP.
There are two ECNP Schools that are annually held:
- The ECNP School of Neuropsychopharmacology
A week-long course covering the fundamentals of neuropsychopharmacology through to the use of medications in individual indications, good clinical practice and optimal treatment and algorithms.
Target group: early career psychiatrists
The next ECNP School of Neuropsychopharmacology will take place from 28 June-3 July 2020 in Oxford, United Kingdom.
