Call for symposium proposals
The deadline for submissions has closed.
(deadline was: 19 March 2012, 12.00 CET)
The Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) invites you to submit a proposal for a full symposium in neuropsychopharmacology, experimental and clinical neuroscience and closely related disciplines.
Your symposium proposal should include:
- A tentative symposium title
- A half A4 outline of the proposed topic
- A selected category
- Four tentative lecture titles and speakers
Proposing speakers:
- There should preferably not be more than one speaker per country, and in any case, not more than one speaker per institute.
- At this point there is no need to get formal approval from the proposed speakers!
- You do not need to invite speakers and/or organise funding, as invitations and refunds for speakers and chairs are arranged by ECNP.
The selection of the proposals will take into account:
- Whether a topic has been on the programme of the last three ECNP Congresses*
- The expected (near) future scientific breakthroughs and/or highlights
- The structure of the scientific programme in parallel tracks and the spread over the topics to be covered
The ECNP Office will confirm receipt of your submission by e-mail. If you have not received a confirmation within 2 weeks of submitting your proposal, please notify the ECNP Office immediately at: +31 30 253 8567.
You will be informed about the decision of the SPC by 2 July 2012. There can be no correspondence about the outcome.
Should you encounter any problems submitting your proposal online, please contact the ECNP Office.
