Anders Björklund wins ECNP Neuropsychopharmacology Award 2013.
He is professor at the Wallenberg Neuroscience Center, University of Lund in Sweden. One of the world's leading brain researchers, he is most well known for his groundbreaking research on neurochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying brain regeneration, which has led to neuroprotective treatment possibilities for Parkinson's disease. Do not miss his lecture on 6 October at the next ECNP Congress in Barcelona: 'Novel therapeutic targets for neuroprotection and disease modification in Parkinson's disease'.
