Who can apply?
Residents of European countries (including Russia, Turkey and Israel) who have made a long-standing impact on neuropsychopharmacology and related disciplines.
How to apply:
(submission of applications is closed - deadline was 15 January 2012)
Please send the following electronic documents to the ECNP Award Committee:
- A motivation (max. 1 page), outlining that the lifetime work of the applicant is outstanding and has substantially benefited the field of neuropsychopharmacology, nationally or internationally.
- A summary curriculum vitae
If you know a suitable candidate you may also submit an application on their behalf.
Confirmation:
Receipt of your application will be confirmed by the ECNP Office by e-mail within two weeks after submission.
If you have not received a confirmation within this period, please notify the ECNP Office at +31 88 75 69 555.
Evaluation:
All applications are reviewed by the ECNP Award Committee. First, the Award Committee will make a shortlist of possible winners. Short-listed applicants may be asked to submit additional information before a final decision is taken.
The applicants will be informed about the decision before 1 May 2012. There will be no correspondence about the outcome.
Please note: members of the ECNP Executive Committee, the chair of the Scientific Programme Committee and the members of the Award Committee are not eligible for application.
Receiving the award:
The award will be presented during the welcome ceremony of the 25th ECNP Congress, 13-17 October 2012, Vienna, Austria
